More February Break
Okay, I don’t know how I managed to miss this one, but Proctors is running two camps over February break–there’s still space in both of them. They’ve got What a Character! in the mornings from 9 am-12:30 pm, and then Storytelling/Storyacting from 1:30 -4:30 pm. Both programs are for 9- to 13-year-olds. It’s $130 to attend one of them, or $250 to attend both workshops (they’ll keep an eye on the kids while they eat lunch).
Okay, how bizarre is this? Grooms Tavern is hosting a Webkinz Camp from Tuesday to Friday of Presidents’ Week at 6:30 pm. Kids must be 5 or older, and it’s $40.
I’ve been busily compiling the big list for the weekend and February break, so it is coming soon, I promise. Meanwhile keep in mind that there’s also the Olympics to be watched. Sure, it’s tv, but maybe it will inspire your kid to try a new sport. And everyone’s allowed at least one Olympics in their childhood that they spend glued to the tv–for me it was Summer 1984. You know, some people missed those Eastern Bloc countries, but I was like, more medals for us, baby!
