These items are all ongoing events that you’re not expected to register for in advance (or, not more than earlier in the day).  Keep in mind that although many of these are free, some are not.  This is sort of a “perpetual calendar”, so if it’s the third Thursday of the month, go down to the Third Week section, then look at Thursday.  Then follow the links for details.  If it’s a holiday, please be sure to double check by clicking the link.

First Week of the Month
Sunday
10 am-2 pm Schenectady Greenmarket
1:30 pm First Sundays at Sand Lake Center for the Arts (Averill Park)–they seem to have either a single event at 1:30 or a more expansive celebration that lasts longer, but still midday–check link for details
Monday
10 am Rotterdam Public Library has a 30-minute drop-in storytime for independent 3-, 4-, & 5-year-olds. This is not happening over the summer, but it resumes in October.
